According to the private seller offering this truck on ClassicCars.com, it’s an all-original 1972 Ford F-250 Camper Special that spent 45 years hidden away in a pole barn.
The truck has been driven only 23,152 miles and still has the factory “OK” stamp on the valve cover of its 390 cid V8 engine.
“She is super solid inside and out,” the seller promises.
“All original rust-free metal, all original interior and almost all original paint.
“A true survivor including the OEM tires and wiper blades still on the truck.”
The seller notes that the truck has a few minor dings, “but at her age, it’s allowed. Besides, it adds to her character.”
The owner says the truck was purchased from its original owner.
The truck is the heavy-duty Ford pickup. The Camper Special added stronger suspension, heavy-duty engine cooling, special wiring for the addition of a camper shell, and larger exterior mirrors.
It has two-tone paint, an automatic transmission, and is “simply a pleasure to drive.”
The truck is located in Three Rivers, Michigan. The asking price is $16,900 but other offers will be considered.
