There will be 80 sports cars — assorted Ferraris, Porsches, etc. — but Coys’ auction Saturday at Schloss Dyck, a 17th century castle in Germany, also will feature the 450 model-car collection assembled over 30 years by Michael Digiacomo of New York.
Offered at no reserve, the model cars come in various sizes and competition periods, including cased and hand-build examples, the auction house said.
Among the full-sized sports cars on the docket are a 1992 Porche 964 Turbo S Lightweight, a 1976 Porsche 911 G-Serires Carrera RS, a 1966 Porsche 911, a 1968 Ferrari 330 GTC, a 1983 Ferrari 512I Berlinetta Boxer with an Ermenegildo Zenga-designed wool interior, a 1961 Jaguar E-type flat-floor roadster, and a 1947 Delahaye 135M cabriolet.
The catalog is available at the Coys’ website, and there’s a separate website for the model-car collection.
