A trio of vintage Chevrolets and a 1960 AMC Rambler Ambassador formerly displayed in a museum are among the highlights of the docket for Vicari Auction Company’s seventh annual New Orleans Collector Car Auction, scheduled for July 8 at Mardi Gras World.

The Chevrolets include a five-time NCRS regional Top Flight award-winning 1967 Corvette, a 1955 Bel Air that won three awards at the 2016 Tri-Five in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and a 1958 Impala. The Ambassador was formerly part of the Sterling McCall Old Car Museum.

Another highlight car is a 1969 Ford Mach I.

Vicari says the docket will include as many as 150 cars.

The run up to the sale includes Louisiana Cruisin’ Inc.’s Louisiana Tour 2017, a two-day scenic driving event that starts in Natchitoches, travels the Cane River Trail and ends its opening day with a drive through Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge. The second day includes a visit to the Pellegrini Performance Group building and ends at NOLA Motorsports for a lap around the race track.

The auction also will host a car show July 7 from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. at the Mardi Gras Float Den.
