Silver Auctions is set for its fourth annual Arizona Spring Auction, March 18-20 at the Fort McDowell Resort and Casino in Fountain Hills, Arizona.
“This historical auction weekend (St. Patrick’s Day) is the perfect time of year for us to continue our services to our customers in the greater Phoenix area” said Mitch Silver, the owner of the auction company.
“The number of cars and collectors in the region creates an ideal combination to bring everyone together to enjoy the old car hobby and consider new investments.”
Approximately 300 cars are expected to cross the block during this three-day event — 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Saturday, and noon to 6:00 p.m. Sunday.
Among those crossing the block will be is a 1977 Chevrolet Silverado C20 with only 75,000 miles on its odometer. The truck is an all-original Arizona vehicle with minimal wear on the truck bed and the interior, Silver said. The sale of this vehicle includes the original jack and tool kit in addition to the owner’s manual.
With less than 200 miles on a rebuilt engine, a 1973 Volkswagen Super Beetle will cross the block as well. The Super Beetle features an auto-stick gearbox and has new paint, a new dashboard, carpet and tires.
In addition to the C20 and the Super Beetle, a 1967 Plymouth Fury III features an original body and interior with original mileage. However, original 383 engine was rebuilt in 1995 and now features an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor.
