The one-off Alfa Romeo RL Normale Coupe de Ville, a 1923 Voisin Type C6 Laboratoire from the Mullin Automotive Museum and more than 20 motorized two-wheelers will be showcased at the 11th Chubb Insurance Concours d’Elegance at England’s Salon Prive at Blenheim Palace, scheduled for September 1-3.
The field will include more than 65 cars and 20 motorcycles in 13 classes including:
- Pre-war Coachwork, with the ’24 Alfa, delivered new to Barcelona and in Caoba wood bodywork by J. Farre.
- Voisins — Aviation to Automotive, with the ’23 Laboratoire with bodywork inspired by an airplane wing.
- Racing Improves the Breed, with the recently restored 1956 Ferrari 500 TR that won at the 1956 and 1957 Nassau Speed Weeks. The car, hidden away for 50 years, also finished second in its class in the 1957 Cuban Grand Prix.
- Three motorcycle classes featuring bikes ranging from a 1917 Matchless-Vickers 8B2/M Russian military motorcycle combination to a 1954 Vincent Black Knight. The ’17 Matchless is one of only three surviving World War I machine gun combinations, the only Matchless version and is owned by the British Motorcycle Charitable Trust.

Among other featured classes are 50 Years of the Lamborghini Miura, The Great V12 Ferraris, Gone with the Wind, Dream Machines, a Ferrari racing class and two classes for Porsches.
