Andy Reid explains the auction process | Nicole James photo

For the third year in a row, ClassicCars.com offers free tours of three of the auction venues during Monterey Car Week, and there’s still time to register.

Two of the tours will be led by our resident collector car and auction analyst Andy Reid, who has been leading such tours for a dozen years.

Andy’s tours are scheduled for Bonhams and RM Sotheby’s. He’ll offer his thoughts as he guides tour guests through the Bonhams vehicle array at The Quail Lodge at 11:30 a.m. on August 16. The next day, he’ll offer a similar tour of the RM Sotheby’s docket in downtown Monterey, starting at noon.

The other tour takes place August 15 at 10 a.m. at the Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel, where Mecum Auctions’ consignment manager and NBCSN television commentator John Kraman will lead the tour with our editorial director Larry Edsall tagging along and sharing his comments as well.

All tours are free, and you’ll take home a goodie bag of stuff — and knowledge about the cars available and the entire auction buying and selling process. All you need to do is to register below.
