Registration open for Shade’s Corvair Track Classic

Registration remains open for the Corvair Track Classic presented by Shade’s Classic Cars, at Motorsports Park Hastings, MPH, August 28, 29, and 30 in Hastings, Nebraska.

Lyn Yenko, daughter of Don Yenko, is slated as featured guest and is scheduled to attend the welcome party at Shade’s Classic Corner.

On August 29, enthusiasts can race their cars on the MPH full, 2.15-mile, 14-turn road course from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. From 4:15 to 5:30 p.m., grudge match and drag racing will take place, followed by a “throw-back”barbeque and car show.

On August 30, and autocross takes place at MPH from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. SCCA members will help run the autocross around a one-mile, 8-turn circuit.
