The asking price for this Porsche is reasonable at $66,900, but it looks like a veritable bargain compared with the many lesser 911s that sold at auction last week in Monterey for considerably more money.
Over the past three years, early 911s such as this one have commanded serious money at auction, many changing hands for more than $200,000. We saw a number of these cars change hands last week well in excess of $100,000.
The owner chose to preserve the original interior instead of replacing it in order to keep the car as original as possible, the ad says, and it looks to be in very nice original shape with appealing patina. The car is stated to be rust free and said to start and drive with no issues.
