I propose a challenge for treasure hunters and savvy shoppers alike: find a rare import from the ’70s in excellent condition, all original and unrestored for under $10,000.
Sounds next to impossible right?
Fear not, the perfect car has been found, meets the challenge criteria, is listed on ClassicCars.com, and has been selected as the Pick of the Day. This mystical find is a 1971 Honda N600.
According to the private seller in Red Bank, New Jersey, some 20,000 Honda N600’s were brought to the US between 1969 and 1971, and of that number, fewer than 50 remain in original condition. The asking price for the tiny Honda is $8,000.
The N600 is a rear-wheel-drive vehicle powered by a 600cc Honda engine mated to a manual transmission.
The exterior of the car is the original white paint and is free of any rust or dents, according to the listing, while the interior is made up of black vinyl, also unrestored, and said to be in very good condition.
The seller says the car is complete with all original parts, runs great, and doesn’t need anything. The owner does have some extra parts, including an extra carburetor and four wheel rims.
