Securing your electronic devices can be a challenge in any vehicle, but especially so in a vehicle designed for traveling off pavement. Rugged Ridge offers a solution, at least for those with 2018 or later Jeep Wrangler JL and 2020 or later Gladiator JT vehicles.
Rugged Ridge, a Truck Hero Inc. company based in Suwanee, Georgia, says its Gear-Vise Dash Bar “was engineered to provide Wrangler JL and Gladiator owners with a viable means of securing their electronic devices that would withstand the rigors of off-road driving without altering the factory interior trim.”
The bar includes a 7/8-inch diameter matte-black and powder-coated steel bar with mounting bases that use factory mounting points on the vehicles’ A pillars.
“This position gives the Gear-Vise Dash Bar outstanding rigidity and an ideal arch over the dash cluster, keeping your electronic gear close-at-hand or positioned away for easy front passenger access,” the company reports.
“The Gear-Vise Dash Bar is designed to work in unison with the available Universal Phone Mount and Universal Tablet Mount, as well as many aftermarket mounting accessories,” Rugged Ridge adds.
“The mounts attach securely to the dash bar with handcuff-style clamps that adjust easily, giving the user the versatility to build their Gear-Vise Dash Bar System in any configuration to suit their needs to a tee.”
