The Pick of the Day is the kind of brightly colored toy truck that we were all hoping to find under the Christmas tree this morning, and hopefully many of us did.
Tastefully customized, this 1941 Ford pickup would look great rolling down Main Street in the Christmas parade. I’m picturing it with a big red bow on top and the bed loaded with presents, a couple of elves, maybe Santa himself standing back there waving to the crowd.
Other than its holiday appeal, this sounds like a fun truck that’s been done right. According to the ad on ClassicCars.com, it’s fitted with a classic 260 cid Ford V8 with Shelby aluminum intake, Holly four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock valve covers and air cleaner, Mallory distributor and dual exhaust. The seller, a classic car dealer in Mount Vernon, Washington, describes it as a “very peppy small-block Ford V8.”
The engine is hooked up with a four-speed manual transmission and a Mustang 8-inch rear. The front-end has a drop axle with disc brakes, and the rear has 2-inch lowering blocks and fresh shock absorbers.
The yellow paint on the all-steel body is in good condition with nice chrome and glass, the seller says, while the bed has a nice wood floor and a custom tonneau cover. The custom interior has a “very comfortable look and feel,” with gray upholstery, new carpets and shifter boot, Grants steering wheel, a tachometer and a vintage AM/FM stereo with cassette.
With the rising values of nice street rods, and pickup trucks in general, this one looks fairly priced at $34,950. And just think of how envious the other boys in the neighborhood would be.

Just run across your ad and wanted to know if it is still for sale. Maybe some pictures of the truck along with the lowest price.
How do I buy this ?
