Chameleon paint can make any collector car stand out from the mundane and ordinary at a car show. The paint appears to change colors when seen in different light and at different angles, so two people will rarely see the vehicle as the exact same color, which can cause heated debate similar to that of “the dress” last year. (For no apparent reason, some people viewing the infamous dress on the internet saw it in a certain color, while other saw it entirely differently.)

The listing on ClassicCars.com, created by a dealer in Boise, Idaho, features a video that takes the viewer around the truck to showcase the exceptional paint job, and the ad includes 100 still images at different angles.
The dramatic paint is complimented with chrome and stainless-steel exterior trim along with “factory style badging,” black Rhino-lined running boards and custom chrome front and rear bumper with a custom grill and chrome headlight housings, the seller says. Completing the look is a set of chrome IROC wheels wrapped in radial tires.
According to the listing, this Ford Pickup sits on a professionally modified tube frame from a Chevrolet S10 Chassis with a steel Ford body and bed coupled with fiberglass fenders. The seller adds that the VIN plate is mounted to the driver’s door pillar for easy verification.
350 CID powering the truckPowering the 1935 Ford is a small-block Chevrolet 350 cid V8 fitted with an aluminum intake manifold, valve covers and air cleaner housing from Edelbrock as well as Carter 4-barrel carburetor with electric choke and “Rams Horn” exhaust manifold that feeds the dual exhaust. The engine is mated to a 700R4 three-speed automatic transmission. The seller adds that “the suspension and drive line are in good working order as well as the electrical system.”
“This vehicle is in nice mechanical condition” the seller says. “It runs and drives very well.”
The listing notes the interior is in “very nice condition” with custom bucket seats wrapped in “Black Sierra Grain and Ostrich Leather” upholstery to match the black Ostrich leather door panels and headliner to complement the black carpet. The interior also features a Grant Sport steering wheel and Stewart Warner gauge cluster set in the dashboard, which painted black with “Kameleon Kolor” accents.
Other creature comforts include air conditioning, power windows and a Pioneer stereo with two door-mounted speakers.
Offered for $29,900, the seller says the “pickup is a great investment opportunity and it is priced right,” adding that the truck has been driven only 3,045 miles since the completion of the build.
