NSRA gives Louisville StreetKhana show awards

NSRA awards “quickest post-1948” in StreetKhana to a 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport

The National Street Rod Association has announced StreetKhana and show winners at the 47th Street Rod Nationals in Louisville, Kentucky.

Earning “quickest post-1948” in StreetKhana, the NSRA’s take on autocross, was a 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport owned by Tyler Powell of Nashville, Tennessee, with an elapsed time of 35.5 seconds. A 1946 Chevrolet pickup owned by Daviv Benson, from Sellersburg, Indiana, took the title of “quickest pre-1949” with an elapsed time of 41.559 seconds.

The NSRA presented the “Outstanding Use of Color” award to a 1936 Ford Coupe shown by Thomas Smith of Bowling Green, Kentucky; a 1956 Chevrolet 210 shown by Richard and Joann Kitching of Park Ridge, Illinois; and a 1971 Chevrolet Pickup shown by Chad and Lisa Myers of Hamilton, Indiana.
