The National Street Rod Association has announced the winners of “Outstanding Use of Color” determined at the Street Rod Nationals South and the winner of the “FAST Revolution Award” determined at the Mid America Street Rod Nationals.
Held in Knoxville, Tennessee, the Street Rod Nationals South awarded “Outstanding Use of Color” to a two-tone 1940 Ford Pickup shown by Dale and Jackie Dinse from Monterey, Tennessee, and to a 1950 Chevrolet shown by Aaron Watkins from Powell, Tennessee.
Shortly after, a 1940 Chevrolet owned by Franchot and Rae Duncan of Derby, Kansas, was awarded the “FAST Revolution Award” at the Mid America Street Rod Nationals, held at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds in Springfield, Missouri.
The award was given by COMP Cams, whom manufactures performance camshafts, lifters, and other valve train parts for all race and street performance engines.
