As part of the celebration of Collector Car Appreciation Day, scheduled this year for July 14, ClassicCars.com seeks your nominations for our annual salute to Classic Car Community Heroes.

Collector Car Appreciation Day was created by the Specialty Equipment Market Association and is underscored by a U.S. Senate proclamation.

What we’re looking for are those people in the classic car community who have gone above and beyond in service to others, who have organized car shows, or who encourage eager children climb into his or her classic car.

Maybe the hero even has allowed young drivers to take a turn at the wheel so they can see what it’s like to drive a vintage vehicle.

Here’s how it works: Simply use the form below to nominate your Classic Car Community Hero (or Heroine), providing as many details as possible. Also, please send along a .jpg photograph or two.

Nominations close on Collector Car Appreciation Day, July 14.
