Continuing its “museum in motion” series, the National Corvette Museum has several trips planned, and not only for this year but into next year as well.

The next tour is the Lone star boots, fun and fast,  scheduled for September 15-20. The tour will include stops at Tudor Racing at the Circuit of The Americas; Sixth Floor Museum in Dallas; Michael Brown’s Car Collection; and the Texas Ranger Museum and the Hall of Fame.

The 2015 Kentucky One Lap tour has three different dates — October 12-17, 19-24, and 26-31. This tour visits Abraham Lincoln’s Birthplace, Old Talbot Tavern; Rosemary Clooney House, Newport Aquarium; Carter Caves; Old Pogue Distillery; and Old Friends Equine Retirement.

On May 1-4, 2016, the museum organizes a Tail of the Dragon tour. The Tail of the Dragon or TN-129 will travel to Ashville, North Carolina, for tours of the Biltmore, oh, and a drive on the famed Tail of the Dragon mountain road.

May 19-22, 2016, the NCM plans a Marble and Glass weekend in Newport, Rhode Island. Highlights include mansion tours; an Ocean Drive Corvette cruise; Fort Adams tour; America’s Cup 12-Meter Yacht Charter; scenic bus tour of Historic Newport; shopping on Bowens and Bannister Wharf; and a clam bake at the Atlantic Beach Club.

The National Corvette Museum will take enthusiasts abroad for a tour of France from June 11-21, 2016. This trip will include visiting the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Versailles, Normandy and Omaha beaches, Orsay Museum, Arc de Triomphe, and the 24 Hours of Le Mans race.
