For more than 35 years, the British Motor Museum has been in charge of certifying British Leyland products, and reports it is quickly approaching its 100,000 such documentation, which includes vehicle details as recorded in the original factory ledgers.
If you own such a vehicle, you can apply online, and the museum offers to enhance your documentation by including a photograph, technical specifications or even a heritage document wallet.
To celebrate the 100,000-certificate milestone, the museum is staging a contest that will award a Premier Heritage Certificate as well as a one-year family pass to the museum, which is located in Gaydon, Warwickshire.
Entries are restricted to those who own British Leyland vehicles, but if you do, you can enter at the archive competition website.
