After a successful debut in 2016, Mercedes-Benz will stage three track days this year in Germany for owners of classic Mercedes racing cars. The dates are March 30 at Hockenheim, August 3 at Zolder and September 19 at Oschersleben.

The events are organized by Jorg van Ommen, former Mercedes factory racer in the German touring car championships. In addition to van Ommen, another former Mercedes racing star — Ellen Lohr, Roland Asch or Kurt Thiim — will be on hand to provide coaching.

Each date is limited to 45 cars with owners selecting their degree of participation — from booking specific times to all-day open track or a club challenge at a more controlled pace.
