McCormick’s Palm Springs Collector Car Auction toped $5.8 million in sales with 304 vehicles sold during the company’s 62nd auction February 24-26 at the Palm Springs Convention Center.

“More than the usual number of cars sold for above the sellers’ reserve price,” said Keith McCormick, owner of the auction house, adding the high bids may have been due to the presence of many new bidders at the event, which also broke previous attendance records.

“We’ll see if it becomes a trend.”
