Lowriders featured in Petersen museum exhibition
2017 is unfolding as the Year of the Lowrider. The colorful cars designed to be driven low and slow have been featured at historical museums in Colorado and New Mexico. There’s a new book about them. One was on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., for a week. Hollywood has released a movie with a Lowrider theme. Now, the Petersen Automotive Museum has opened a year-old featured exhibition — The High Art of Riding Low: Raflas, Corazon e Inspiracion.
