Coachbuilt cars of the 1930s and ‘40s are the featured categories for the 11th annual La Jolla Concours d’Elegance, which also will salute Dr. Cy Conrad, who is retiring as the concours’ chief judge after the event. Conrad has been a concours judge for more than 45 years, and chief judge for 36 years at various venues, both in the United States and England.

He also has written a concours judging handbook and several magazine articles.
