Keels & Wheels, which annually parks some 200 classic cars adjacent to around 100 boats at the Lakewood Yacht Club in Seabrook, Texas, has announced a date change for 2016. Usually held the first weekend in May, the concours d’elegance will be staged April 23-24, 2016.
The change, caused by another big event that already has gobbled up all the available hotel rooms, is only for 2016; the event, which celebrates its 21st anniversary next year, returns to its traditional early May date in 2017.
Featured marques for the 2016 event are Duesenberg, concept cars and muscle cars, as well as Chris Craft racing runabout boats.
