What would Santa drive is our whimsical poll question this week. But the folks at Jaguar Land Rover design approached that issue from their own perspective, and they share a sketch of the F-Sleigh, a concept for a sled for the jolly one inspired by the new F-type convertible.
Skates replace wheels. There’s a big open compartment for gifts. And instead of a usual engine, there’s jet power to propel Santa around the world in a single evening.

“The amazing F-Sleigh may be a bit of Christmas fun, but it proves that Jaguar Land Rover is now creating much more than world-class cars,” Lindsay Weaver, the company’s director of branded and licensed goods, said in a news release.
In addition to the sketch, the F-Sleigh was presented as an ice sculpture at an event this week staged to unveil the official Jaguar and Land Rover collection of branded goods for 2016.
“We have been working tirelessly to develop collections that tell stories and celebrate our great brands,” Weaver said. “We’ve really pushed ahead for design, quality and originality and it’s great to showcase it alongside the luxury goods being produced by our exclusive brand partners.”
