Over 3,000 hot rods, customs, classics, street rods, muscle cars and trick trucks, all pre-1972, will be showcased in Scottsdale, Arizona, from November 18-20 for the 19th annual Southwest Nationals, the final Goodguys event of the 2016 season.

In addition to the car show portion of the weekend, other features include manufacturer and vendor exhibits, swap meet, car corral, “themed” parking areas, and a model-car car show for youngsters.

On Saturday, show goers will be able to see the top 32 qualifiers from events across the country compete in “Duel in the Desert.” The winner will take the 2016 title of Goodguys F.A.S.T AutoCrosser of the Year.

The following day, recognized as the K&N Filters All American Sunday, allows all American-made or domestic-powered vehicles to participate in autocross along with a show n’ shine and be eligible for awards.

Other highlights include a display of the Goodguys “Top 12” award winners along with vintage drag racing at select times during the event.

Show admission is $20 but a $3 discount is given if a new, unwrapped toy of a $5 or more value is brought to the show. Toys will be donated to Toys for Tots in Maricopa County for the Holiday Hot Roddin’ toy drive.
