The Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum in Indiana stages a trivia game night Saturday, March 12, at 7:00 p.m. The cost for the event is $20 or $150 for a team of eight.

Science Saturdays return to the National Automobile Museum in Reno Nevada, this weekend, March 12 with “Chasing storms on Mars,” followed by “exploring the Titanic with a passenger” on April 9, “Exploring planet Earth” on May 14, “Roving Marz” on June 11, “Journeying to the moon” on July 9, and “food in space” on August 13.

The California Automobile Museum in Sacramento has three car-themed tours scheduled. The first is March 12-20 and takes enthusiasts to Florida for visits to the Amelia Island Concours, Daytona Speedway, the Dezer Collection and Walt Disney World.  The next trip is May 14-21 and goes to Cuba. The third trip goes to France from June 15-24 for the 24 hours of Le Mans, including a celebration of the 50th anniversary of Ford’s victory and the 25th anniversary of Mazda’s victory in the race.

May 30 the museum stages a Memorial Day car show featuring Corvettes and other American muscle car.

“Museum in Motion” tours by the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky, have begun. The next tours include a tour of the Tail of the Dragon on May 1-4 and the Marble and Glass tour through New England from May 19-22.

The museum also has opened registration for the Michelin NCM Bash, to be held April 28-30. Attendees will be able to get up close to the next-model-year Corvette as well as hear from the engineers and designers of the car.

The museum holds its seventh annual “One lap of Kentucky” fund-raising event in October over the course of three weeks: October 11-15, 18-22 and 25-29. The event previously has been a one-day Corvette excursion led by the state troopers, but the event this year is open to enthusiasts of all different years, makes, and models, and it is a multi-day drive visiting Kentucky’s significant landmarks.

NASA Great Lakes region holds an open test day at the NCM Motorsports Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky, on March 18, followed by a full NASA weekend March 19-20.

Muscle Car City’s monthly car show is set for March 19 at the museum in Punta Gorda, Florida.

The Owls Head Transportation Museum in Owls Head, Maine, continues its Winter Education Series on March 26, with a presentation by David Percival, sidecar motorcycle racer and owner of DP Motorsport, who is set to present “Sidecar Racing.” In April, writer and museum professional Mark Wilkins presents “The Lafayette Escadrille.”

The next  speaker series discussion at the Blackhawk Museum is scheduled April 2 with Wayne Carini from “Chasing Classic Cars,” followed by Allen Grant discussing the 1965 Shelby Team Driver on Saturday, May 7. Along with this discussion will be the third annual Carroll Shelby Memorial Car Show.

The British Motor Museum  holds  themed workshops  April 9. The first is a “Classic Virgins” experience day with museum experts going over the basics of buying and owning a classic car in addition to go over basic maintenance and give rides in a variety of classic cars. Later in the day, art teacher and accomplished pencil sketcher Richard Cook will hold a class, “Drawing from Automotive History,” discussing different techniques of drawing cars and look at things like composition, angles, and how to draw metal.

The following weekend the museum holds a workshop on how to photograph cars with Lara Platman.

LeMay-America’s Car Museum in Tacoma, Washington, has announced its 2016 cruise-in dates. The cruise-ins are free, and feature a DJ, food, and the option to enter to win prizes and the peoples choice award. The dates are  April 14, May 12, June 9, July 14, August 11, September 8 and October 13.

Additionally, early registration for the fifth annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival: the MEET, has opened. The date is July 30. Early registration for the event is $15 through July 15, after it will be $20.

Model T Drivers’ Ed registration is open at the LeMay Marymount in Tacoma, Washington. The first class will be April 23, followed by May 14, June 4, July 9, August 13, and September 10.

The next class in a six-part series on the foundations of automotive photography at the Simeone Museum is set for April 16 and will look at composition. Classes follow June 4, July 30, September 17 and October 29.   Additionally, the museum has announced it was awarded the AACA Plaque Award in recognition of outstanding achievement in the preservation of automotive history.

April 9  a tribute to the USRRC is planned at the NHRA Wally Parks Motorsports Museum in Pomona, California. The event celebrates the SCCA’s first pro racing series of 1963-1968.

The AACA Museum in Hershey, Pennsylvania, holds its first car show of the season, Cars 4 Critters, on April 23 to benefit homeless animals.

The America on Wheels museum in Allentown, Pennsyvania, is  looking for a 1967-1969 Shelby Mustang GT, 1970-1973 Firebird Trans-AM, and a 1990’s Viper to be a part of their changing exhibit, “A Century of Performance, Cars of the 20thCentury.” The exhibit will run from April to October and any interested car owners are encouraged to send a photograph and description to the museum.

The World of Speed Museum in Wilsonville, Oregon, holds its 2016 Spark Gala on September 17. The event is an effort to raise funds for the museums educational programs.
