The Finest Automobile Auctions announced Thursday that it has added a third sales venue to its schedule and will stage a collector car auction in conjunction with the 11th annual Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance next February 11 at the Boca Raton Resort & Club north of Miami, Florida.
“We are honored with the opportunity to deliver a remarkable, world-class experience through our exclusive partnership with the Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance,” Bradley Farrell, founder and chief executive of The Finest Automobile Auctions, said in a news release. “We have high expectations for this sale and are excited to watch the excitement unfold.”
Farrell also told Classic Car News that three such live auctions — Boca Raton in February, The Elegance at Hershey in June and at Aspen in September — should complete his company’s annual schedule, which also includes quarterly sales at its headquarters in Connecticut.
In 2017, the Boca concours, sponsored by Mercedes-Benz and AutoNation, celebrates Auburn, Cord and Duesenberg as featured marques as well as the 50th anniversary of 1967 pony cars. The weekend also will feature a performance by comedian Jeff Foxworthy at the gala dinner. The concours benefits the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County.
