The Finest Automobile Auctions sale in conjunction with the Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance posted sales of $2.6 million with a 52 percent sell-through rate.

Those figures include the post-block sales that are part of The Finest’s auction format, which includes a 72-hour sales extension after the last hammer drops at the live auction. Nonetheless, only 37 of the 71 lots offered went to new owners.

Of the vehicles sold, only four sold for prices as much as their lowest pre-auction estimated values.

The top individual sales of the auction were $246,750 for a 2011 Porsche 911 Speedster, $189,000 for a 1997 Lamborghini Diablo VT roadster, $187,000 for a 1996 Porsche 993 Turbo, $165,000 for a Mercedes-Benz AMG-SL65 Black Series and $148,500 for a 2009 Bentley Brooklands coupe.

Prices reported include buyer’s fees.

The Finest plans its next sale as an online auction, date yet to be announced, based at its Danbury, Connecticut, headquarters, followed by a more-traditional live auction in June in conjunction with The Elegance at Hershey.
