Corvettes took over the Carlisle Fairgrounds during the final brand-specific event of the 2016 Carlisle Events season. Celebrating 35 years of Corvette gathering, the annual Downtown Carlisle Association Corvette parade and street party included 500 cars, a parade-record attendance.

In addition to the parade, the event featured displays focused on 1966 Corvettes. Chip’s Choice honored the best Guldstrand and Greenwood Corvettes. There were seminars and autograph sessions with Jerry Palmer, Wil Cooksey, Tadge Juechter, Ken Linginfelter, Team Chevrolet and others.

Other weekend highlights included autocross runs with the Cumberland Valley Corvette Club and diagnostic sessions with Corvette expert Paul Koerner of The Corvette Mechanic, as well as a burnout contest and a dinner benefiting the Chip Miller Amyloidosis Foundation.
