The gigantic AACA Eastern Division Fall Meet takes place later this week in Hershey, Pennsylvania, but that event is only the tip of the Antique Automobile Club of America iceberg. The club, founded in Philadelphia in 1935, has regional groups across the country.

Among them is the Venice (Florida) region, which staged its 28th annual collector car show Sunday with so many cars that they spilled out of Centennial Park and onto a couple of adjacent streets in the historic downtown area of the island city on the Gulf Coast.

The Venice regional club stages driving tours, has a “Breakfast at the Beach” and other activities, and raises money for college scholarships. In June, it presented seven $1,000 scholarships to seniors graduating from Venice High School.
