Everything you never knew you needed at Winter Autofest

Model cars for sale at swap meet | Nicole James photos

A popular element of each Carlisle Event is the swap meet where vendors congregate to sell, well, to sell pretty much everything you’d ever need whether automotive or not. Spent just a few moments browsing the aisles and you will find everything you never knew you needed.

Prices are negotiable and deals are ready to be made.

At Carlisle’s Florida Winter Autofest, I found dozens of Ford-themed items — patches for fire suits or jackets along with silverwear and hats. Some wood carvings captured my attention, and I lingered over dozens of different model cars, die-cast cars, and Hot Wheels.

Large cars were in supply as well as parts such as bumpers, hoods, and even windshields, wheels, hubcaps and steering wheels.
