A one-owner 1969 Jaguar E-type 4.2 2+2 driven only 1,733 miles since purchase is headed to auction, and H&H Classics thinks it could be the lowest mileage E-type in the world.
The car is red with beige interior and was last registered for road use 40 years ago.
It is pristine, not even fitted with an audio system so the blanking plate, speaker grilles and aerial bung are still in place, as are the original engine and manual transmission. The car has been recommissioned for driving by specialist Alan Collins, H&H reports.
A pre-sale estimated value for the car has been set at £100,000 to £150,000 ($130,000 to $200,000). The auction is scheduled July 26 at the Imperial War Museum in Duxford, UK.
