Editor’s note: This is the 17th in a 30-day sponsored series featuring cars to be sold January 14-22 during Barrett-Jackson’s 46th Scottsdale auction.

Offered at the 46th annual Scottsdale Barrett-Jackson auction, this 1934 Packard 2/4-passenger coupe underwent restoration in 2005 and was shown at the Meadow Brook Concours d’Elegance, where it won a Lion Award and a blue ribbon.

It also took first in its class at the 2005 Willistead Classic Concours d’Elegance at the Willistead Manor in Windsor, Ontario.

This Packard is finished in a silver, accented by tasteful grey and blue pinstriping. The exterior is complemented by beautiful brightwork, dual fender-mounted lights, a Goddess of Speed mascot, dual side-mounted spare tires and chrome-plated side-mount mirrors, a rear-mounted trunk rack, and painted wire wheels with chrome hubcaps and wide whitewall tires.

The inviting interior is trimmed with grey wool broadcloth and matching grey carpeting, and has been meticulously maintained. The woodgrain dashboard features Packard’s traditional burled Carpathian elm, which is exceptionally elegant in combination with the jewel-like instrument cluster.

To the rear, the rumble seat is upholstered in matching blue leather.

Additionally, the coupe features a highly detailed engine bay and chassis.
