Offered with a reserve during Barrett-Jacksons Palm Beach auction, this 1983 Ferrari 512 BBI is finished in Rosso Corsa over black leather, and has just 65,770 kilometers, or 40,867 miles, on its odometer.
The car was sold new by Ferrari of La Jolla, California, as stamped in the books, and it has records of service through the Prancing Horse and Pegasus Automobili 50,000-km service. There are also records for the 60,000-km engine-out service via San Ramon Exotic Automotive in 1998, just before the car went into long-term storage. It’s had one California owner for the past 30 years.
The factory tool kit, pouch, and books are included.
