Editor’s note: This is the ninth in a 10-day sponsored series featuring cars to be sold June 21-24 during Barrett-Jackson’s Northeast auction.

Offered with reserve during the second annual Northeast Barrett-Jackson auction, this 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429 Fastback was recently restored ahead of the Mustang Club of America Concours where it scored 994 out of 1,000 points.

Since its rotisserie restoration, the car has been test driven just 10 miles. It retains all of its original panels and is fitted with a 429 Boss engine rated at 375 horsepower, mated to a four-speed transmission and a 3.91 Traction-Lok rear axle.

This Mustang’s exterior features Grabber Blue paint, and it has been fitted with fiberglass-belted tires, power disc brakes and competition-ready suspension. The interior complements the look of the car with high-back vinyl bucket seats, floor-mounted shifter, tachometer and trip odometer, along with a radio and a deluxe steering wheel.

Included with the sale are three copies of Ford Window Stickers, Deluxe Marti Report and MCA judging sheets.
