The three-day Elegance at Hershey weekend takes place in the Pennsylvania chocolate capital from Friday through Sunday at the Hotel Hershey, featuring vintage race car hill climbs, a Cars and Coffee get together and a full-blown concours d’elegance.
The Grand Ascent hill climb pits an array of historic competition cars racing against the clock and each other. The raucous racing takes place Friday and Saturday on a serpentine back road behind the hotel, with plenty of locations for spectators as well as tickets available to ride along.
On Saturday, there will be a laid-back Cars and Coffee car show on the hotel grounds.
The Elegance at Hershey concours d’elegance takes to the show field on Sunday for the “ultimate garden party,” with scores of rare and special classic vehicles competing for awards.
The events benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the AACA Library and Research Center, and the AACA museum.

The annual EyesOn Design Automotive Design Exhibition will be held at the Edsel and Ford House in Grosse Point Shores, Michigan, on Sunday, June 18. The unique show highlights classic beauties of the past as well as concept and production vehicles that debuted during the previous year’s auto show circuit.
The show is held with the support of domestic and international automakers with judging by active and retired exterior and interior designers from leading automotive and supplier companies.

Legendary drag racer “Big Daddy” Don Garlits will serve as grand marshal for the 2017 Hemmings Motor News Great Race presented by Hagerty.
The time-speed-endurance event for classic vehicles 1972 and earlier starts Saturday, June 24 in Jacksonville, Florida, makes its way north along sections of the old Dixie Highway, and finishes in Traverse City, Michigan, on Sunday, July 2.
The 2,300-mile trek from Florida at Michigan, which includes vehicles as early at 1916, puts drivers and navigators on a new route each year to vie for a winning piece of the $150,000 purse.

London, England’s inaugural City Concours tales place Thursday and Friday, and promises to be an extravaganza of vintage and contemporary star cars and motorcycles held on the lawn of the Honourable Artillery Company.
Seventy-five historic vehicles curated by the City Concours panel of motoring experts will be on display alongside about 30 others from the concours’ specialist car partners.
The displays open with “Pioneering Spirit,” a celebration of vehicles that changed the world of motoring or completed legendary feats of endurance. A collection of historic race cars will be shown in the “Built for Speed” display.
The “Joy of the Road” section will show an iconic group of sports cars, while “The Swinging Sixties” focuses on a golden age of automotive design and engineering.

The Atlanta Concours d’Elegance in Georgia has announced that it will be adding a full range of motorcycle classes to its classic car event, with two judging fields for pre- and post-war motorcycles judged in seven classes.
The second-year Atlantic Concours activities will be held September 30 and October 1 at Chateau Elan in Atlanta, Georgia.

Henry Ford’s Greenfield Village will host its annual Motor Muster on June 17 and 18, with hundreds of “cherished, fawned over, mythic cars from America’s automotive dynasty (and their owners).”
A special feature this year is a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Pontiac Firebird, including select examples of “screaming chicken” Trans Am models of the 1970s.
