I bought this car from my neighbor in 1972 as I saw her drive home in a new 1973 Corvette with automatic transmission. She got the 1964 Corvette as a high school graduation present and very rarely drove it as she did not enjoy a four-speed manual transmission.
The car has very few miles as I rarely drove the car because I had a company car for 30 years. It has one re-spray and the interior is all original. Original rag top was replaced in 2010. Never been in an accident and always garaged since new. Except when it was stolen in 1974.
I told my 16 year old son that he could have it when he turned 40. I should have said 50 as he’ll be 40 next year.
