My grandfather, Roy Jones, was a veterinarian in the early 1900s. He lived in Clio, Iowa, a little town near the Iowa/Missouri state line. He served the farmers in southern Iowa and northern Missouri.

He traveled the country in a horse and buggy until he bought this Brush automobile. It was one of the first automobiles in the area.

I believe this photo was taken sometime before 1915. He is shown here with his friend Jesse Moore, M.D.
