One of my buddies had a 69 Chevrolet Z-28 Camaro and I always drove it.
One day in 1976 he drove and blew the engine and said he would sell the car to me for $1,500. Instead, he made it into a race car, and eventually it was cut up into pieces.
I’ve always wanted one of my own ever since.
Two years ago, I bought a 1969 Z-28 with an original 302, Muncie 4-speed and 410 rear in Pennsylvania.
I love driving my car, remembering old friends and good times. It’s like I am back in the ‘70s.
