Four years ago I looked on UK eBay at this car. She was red with a white power top, seats in red velvet, and was very nice. The owner was a very old gentleman in Ipswich.
I immediately loved this car. I didn’t know about the car’s condition but I booked a flight with my wife and my son to the UK for a few days later.
After a travel by plane, bus and taxi, I saw “the my car” and immediately bought her. That evening we drove to Norwich and took a ship to Rotterdam, from where we drove her to our home in Italy.
I hoped the engine would be good and it was. I finished a simple restoration and on September 16, 2014 my first son drove away from his wedding in this very nice cabriolet.
