Cars from Roy Cats Lamborghini collection at Mecum

Six unique Lamborghinis from the Roy Cats collection are set to cross the block at Mecum Auctions’ sale in Seattle auction June 5-6, adding some Italian supercar luster to an auction that already includes the John Wickey collection of American muscle cars.

The mid-engine V12-powered Lambos range from 1989 with an ultra-exotic Countach in 25th anniversary edition livery to a 2010 Murcielago with custom upgrades, as well as a rare 2009 Murcielago roadster loaded with extras.

The special-order, one-owner 2009 Murcielago LP640 roadster came with factory options that added up to an original MSRP of more than $441,000. This car came with the E-Gear semiautomatic transmission backing its 6.5-liter 631-horsepower V12 engine.

Performance enhancements include a carbon-fiber engine brace, carbon-ceramic brakes with yellow-painted calipers, aftermarket exhaust and a carbon-fiber rear wing. The interior consists of black leather with yellow stitching, and carbon-fiber accents dominate throughout the interior. This car comes with up-to-date servicing and records, and a copy of the original window sticker showing the long list of factory-installed options, a car cover, seat covers, two keys, driving gloves and owner’s manuals.

A 2010 Lamborghini Murcielago SV finished in Nero Alderbaran over a Nero Super Veloce interior with yellow stitching, is number 300 of 350 built, and one of just 42 for the U.S. market. The interior is full of SV-specific alcantara, leather, and carbon-fiber accents making up the steering wheel, E-Gear shift paddles, console, gauge pod and seat frames, and yellow-painted calipers for the carbon-fiber disc brakes.

In addition to a recent 7,500-mile service and new clutch, this 2010 SV has a new Kreissieg custom exhaust system with remote on/off control and a self-healing XPEL clear bra covering the entire car.

A 25^th Anniversary edition 1989 Lamborghini Countach also will be auctioned, one of 658 produced worldwide and one of 187 built for the North American market. An extensive engine-out service was completed this year.

Also in the collection is a 2001 Lamborghini Diablo VT, which is offered with 26,741 miles, finished in Giallo Orion, pearl yellow, with a black rear spoiler and painted alloy wheels. The car recently received a major engine-out service by an authorized Lamborghini Service center, and rides on new Pirelli P-Zero tires. The black leather interior features yellow accents, and a carbon-fiber trim package.

Finished in black with a black-leather cockpit trimmed with red, the 1992 Lamborghini Diablo features a rear wing, SV wheels with black-painted centers wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero rubber, tinted tail lights, and gold-painted brake calipers. The car recently received a major service.

Also up for sale is a 1999 Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster with special-order titanium silver metallic paint, which is matched with a black leather interior. This car features the mid-mounted V12 with five-speed manual transmission, hydraulic front lift system for ramp clearance, and an aftermarket exhaust system.
