Carlisle Events showcases Novas in new event

Carlisle Events has replaced its GM Nationals show with the Carlisle Chevrolet Nationals which will include “Novas at Carlisle,” a gathering of the National Nostalgic Nova Club. The event is to run three days, starting June 23, 2017, at the Carlisle Fairgrounds in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

The National Nostalgic Nova Club will have a special display with significant club-member cars, though any Nova owner is welcome to park with the club during the event. The show will include seminars on Nova tech and history as well as a celebration of 50 years of the 1967 Nova.

In addition to the Nova meet, Chevy, Buick, Olds, Pontiac and Cadillac-themed car clubs are invited. The 50th anniversary of the Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird will be celebrated and a“GM Muscle Car Showdown” will showcase the best of Chevrolet, Oldsmobile, Pontiac and Buick.

The event also includes the “Solid Lifter Showroom,” comprising cars such as Yenkos and COPOs, and a pace-car display.
