From Formula One cars at the Canadian Grand Prix race to classics and exotics in Manhattan — and with lots in between — the California Automobile Museum is accepting reservations for its Montreal to Manhattan trip June 5-14.
The trip starts in Montreal with the Canadian Grand Prix weekend. You can watch the racing action or visit any of six local museums that will be open to tour participants.
From Montreal, a charger coach will carry tour participants on a scenic drive along the St. Lawrence Seaway and Lake Ontario to Toronto, where stops will include the Canadian Automotive Museum and the showroom of the Legendary Motorcar Company.
It wouldn’t be an eastern Canadian trip without a stop at Niagara Falls, and while in the area, travelers will have an opportunity to tour the Buffalo Transportation Pierce-Arrow Museum and the Buffalo Harley-Davidson showroom museum.
The tour then travels through the Finger Lakes Region of upstate New York to the Saratoga Automobile Museum and several private collections in the area as well. Finally, the trip arrives in Manhattan, with atour with the Intrepid museum and visit the Classic Car Club Manhattan and its fleet of classic and exotic cars.
This trip includes lodging, charter coach transportation from Montreal to Manhattan, all breakfasts, four dinners and one lunch along the way, as well as all scheduled tours and guide fees.
You’ll need to buy your own Canadian Grand Prix tickets, but the museum suggest Grandstand 11 to see the start.
The trip itself is $5,500 for a single traveler or $4,300 per person sharing a room.
Want to go to the race but nothing else? The museum offers a $1,300 (single) or $900 (double-occupancy) package from Friday through Sunday of race weekend including hotel, breakfasts and a Saturday dinner.

I’m a resident of Oshawa, Ontario. VERY gratified to hear this trip will be making a stop at our Canadian Automotive Museum. Sounds like a great trip, wish I could go! 🙂
