Eighteen of the greatest Japanese sports cars will be on display at the Simeone Automotive Museum in Philadelphia as part of a special exhibit, the Best of Japan, which runs July 5 to 19. This is the first time the Simeone has hosted an exhibit featuring Japanese cars.

Some of the featured cars in the exhibit include a 1998 Subaru Impreza STI 22B, one of only two in the United States; a Subaru 360, the first Subaru sold in the United States;  a 1993 Mazda RX-7 with only 16,000 miles on its odometer; a 1990 Mazda Miata that was one of the first sold in the U.S.; a 1985 Honda CRX with only 50,000 miles showing; a 1971 Datsun 240Z that is a ZCCA national champion and a gold medallion winner; and a 1990 Nissan Skyline R32.

All of the cars in the exhibit keep with the museums theme of preservation. The cars are original, unmodified and in an unrestored condition.
