Barrett-Jackson Auction Company has turned its former headquarters building — itself a former Rolls-Royce dealership — into a full-service classic car dealership that opened Friday.
The showroom and adjacent classic car service shop for repair, maintenance and light reconditioning is located on Scottsdale Road in the historic “Old Town” section of Scottsdale, Arizona.
Barrett-Jackson was founded in Scottsdale in the early 1970s by Russ Jackson and Tom Barrett III. The company stages its 44th annual Scottsdale auction January 10-18, 2015. Barrett-Jackson also holds auctions annually at Palm Beach, Florida; Reno, Nevada; and Las Vegas, Nevada.
The 22,000-square-foot Barrett-Jackson Collection Showroom facility in Scottsdale offers a variety of classic cars for sale year-round, as well as providing insurance services, car-care products and Barrett-Jackson branded merchandise.
“The Collection Showroom is designed to be a year-round destination for discerning automotive enthusiasts,” Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson, said in a news release announcing the two-day open house that launches the facility.
“Whether you want to buy or sell a vehicle, get expert advice, purchase licensed products, or have your collector car serviced, this will be the place to go.”
The Barrett-Jackson Showroom Division is managed by Muffy Bennett.
