Germany’s online auction house, Auctionata, plans a “Ferrari Only” sale with 27 vehicles up for bidding on September 26.
In another twist on Auctionata’s format, the auction will be done with a split-screen — the auctioneer live at Auctionata’s Berlin studios while the cars will be shown live from an aircraft hangar in Munich.
The auction is being curated by Munich-based Ferrari specialist Schaltkulisse.
Michael Schumacher won Japanese GP in this car“We are proud to have an experienced partner to support us in the curation of this auction,” Wolfgang Jochum, head of Auctionata’s classic car department, was quoted in a news release. “With their outstanding expertise in the Ferrari market, and their excellent international network, we were able to obtain some highly sought after cars from private collections for this auction.”
Among the Ferraris being offered are:
- A 1965 275 GTB/2 short-nose that has been restored and has certification from Ferrari Classiche attesting that the original chassis, engine, body and transmission were retained throughout the restoration.
- The 1997 Ferrari F310B in which Michael Schumacher won the Japanese Grand Prix.
Sbarro P4
- A 1977 512 BB with Ferrari Classiche certification and fewer than 5,500 miles on its odometer.
- The Sbarro P4 concept from the 1980s.
