German online auction house Auctionata will do its next sale August 31 with some 40 vehicles on the docket.

Among the highlights is a 1970 BMW Alpina B6 created by Alpina founder Burkard Bovensiepen for a motorcycle racer, who has owned the car since new and has had it in storage for the last 15 years, Auctionata reports, adding that the car comes with complete documentation.

Another featured vehicle is a 1984 Mercedes-Benz 280 SE that until 1998 was used by the Portuguese Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Other cars on the docket include a 1970 Jaguar E-type, a 1960 Triumph TR 3A with only 40,531 kilometers traveled so far and a 1974 BMW tii.

The sale will be hosted by author and classic car show host Johannes Hubner, who will provide commentary as the cars are introduced.

Auctionata adds that for the first time, the condition of each vehicle in the auction will be assessed and graded by Classic Data with those condition reports available online.
