ClassicCars.com and Classic Car News’ own in-house collector car marketplace expert, our East Coast editor Andy Reid, will lead two free auction venue tours at Monterey, and all you have to do to join in is to sign up in advance.
Reid has been a collector, consultant and columnist for somewhere around 20 years. His previous tours — at Arizona and Amelia Island and last year at Monterey — have been sell-out events in which he not only has provided insight into the various vehicles up for bidding, but his analysis of the market and hobby overall.
This year, he’ll lead a group around the Bonhams auction preview Wednesday, August 17, at 10 a.m. at The Quail in Carmel Valley. The next day, he’ll lead a group to see what RM Sotheby’s has to offer in downtown Monterey, again beginning at 10 a.m.
His tours are geared for both bidders and enthusiasts simply eager to learn more about the hobby and the marketplace.
