Exceptional and unique automobiles are invited to take part in the third annual Arizona Concours d’Elegance, which takes place January 24, 2016, on the lawns of the historic Arizona Biltmore Resort in Phoenix.

The judging classes have been set for the exclusive concours that will again serve as the start for the famed Classic Car Week in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area.

For the 2016 Arizona Concours, the three featured classes have been designated as: Zagato Coachwork, Duesenberg and Exceptional Cars of Great Britain. Those classes will join more than a dozen standing classes that will be judged during the concours, culminating in the best of show. (See www.ArizonaConcours.com for the full list of classes.)

One special car already entered in the Arizona Concours for the Duesenberg class is the famous 1935 Duesenberg Model SJ Speedster known as the Mormon Meteor that the legendary Ab Jenkins drove to a number of land-speed records on the Bonneville Salt Flats.

Everyone from private hobbyists to automobile museums is invited to apply for entry by using the application form on the Arizona Concours website. To enter a car, click on Vehicle Submission, fill out the form and attach one or more photos of the entry vehicle.

Potential entrants should act soon because the Concours is limited to 90 automobiles and the various classes are filling up quickly. Those planning to attend the January 2016 Concours should also make arrangements as Arizona Concours tickets and hotel availability are limited.

Also available on the website is the Arizona Concours mobile app that can be downloaded with a full compilation of 2015 entries and features.

The third annual Arizona Concours d’Elegance follows two years of highly praised events held on the manicured inner lawns of the Arizona Biltmore, which adds the Art Deco elegance of the 1920s resort to the ambiance of the Concours. In Phoenix’s typical balmy winter weather, the entrants, spectators, celebrity guests and media representatives enjoy a beautiful day of great cars in the intimate setting.

The Arizona Concours d’Elegance benefits Make-A-Wish® Arizona, the founding chapter of the national organization that grants wishes for children facing life-threatening medical conditions.
