A 1928 Auburn 8-88 Boattail Speedster took home the Best of Show Esprit de Sport at the 38th annual Ault Park Concours on Sunday in Cincinnati, Ohio, while a 1931 Chrysler CG Imperial Roadster took home Best of Show Concours d’Elegance award.
The 1928 Auburn 8-88 Boattail Speedster is owned by Richard Harding of Beavercreek, Ohio. The award is given to a sporting vehicle that best exemplifies the spirit of performance and sports motoring.
The 1931 Chrysler CG Imperial Roadster is owned by Brent Merill of Toronto Canada and was awarded the William K. Victor Best of Show Concours d’Elegance prize.
The award was named in honor of William (Bill) Victor, which the event describes as “one of the longest-standing driving forces behind the Ault Park Concours d’Elegance.
“No one involved with the show had a broader or deeper knowledge of all vintages and makes of automobiles than Bill. His advice and contributions to making this show what it is today have been invaluable.”
